Amy CarneyYou found me!

I’m Amy Carney, a front-end web designer for the State of Alaska. I make things, but mostly try not to break things. When I’m not at work marking up and styling pages, I’m at home with my husband and son doing the toddler thing.

My web design skills include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But I’m fast learning Python and Ruby in order to expand my horizons. I also have a Master’s in Library and Information Science, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. My broad education has paved the way for giving me a keen sense of organization while studying why people do what they do. (although my family deserves a lot of credit toward these skills, as well)

Questions? Just ask! I’m not for hire yet, but this hobby and love for web design will surely bud into contract work in its own time.

Visit often to see what I’m learning next!
